Next 11 of April, Lisbon will be once more the theatre of the sport festival. The Carlos Lopes Gold Marathon is organized for the 6th year consecutively and knows already a great popular success of participation.

Carlos Lopes, the ex-Olympic champion of Los Angeles and ex-record holder of the same distance in 2:07'12 in Rotterdam, wants a marathon at his dimension.

The Carlos Lopes Marathon will be held on 11 of April 2010, with a new and magnificent race route, beautiful landscape, "Costa do Sol " the marathon will start from Estoril then to Cascais and back to Lisbon along the sea side (Costa do Sol) to finish in the Park (Parque Expo'98 in from of the Casino de Lisboa (from Casino to Casino)
There will be also a Half Marathon and Mini Marathon open race.
